Calling all TV show lovers and Netflix binge watchers. I would definitely consider myself a TV show person rather than a movie person. Once I get hooked on a show, I watch as many episodes as I can and therefore I’ve watched a lot of series so far. Watching your favorite TV show after a long day can be a form of self care and rejuvenation. The good thing about Netflix and other streamers is that you can watch as many episodes as you want because they’re all right there. So if you’re looking for a new show to get into, here are a few recommendations. You can find all these shows on either Hulu or Netflix.

1.    Grey’s Anatomy– There is a lot of controversy around this show because the producers keep making more seasons and some people think it’s dragged out. I believe it’s one of the best shows ever because the character development throughout the seasons and the drama every episode is so addicting.

2.    Prison Break– This show I’m currently watching and I’m obsessed with it. It’s about two brothers that are planning to break out of prison and there are a lot of events and people that try and stop them and get in the way. Every episode there is something new and it will have you on the edge of your seat the whole time.

3.    Shameless– This show is about a family that lives on the south side of Chicago. It is definitely a show that is pretty real and shows a lot of the struggles the family faces while living on the south side of Chicago. It’s very funny but also very sad at times and therefore you never know what you’re going to get in an episode.

4.    Good trouble– Now this series is a sequel to The Fosters. It’s about two sisters that move away from home together into a city and learn to live life while in their twenties. They figure out the truths about love, friendships and the workforce. It’s definitely relatable if you’re in college or just entering the workforce. It’s one of my top 3 shows for sure.

5.    The 100– This show is definitely sci-fi fantasy. It’s about a utopian society that has lived in outer space for the past couple hundred years because earth was unlivable and the whole show is about their mission back to Earth and all the challenges and even people that make it difficult to get back to the ground.

So, next time you’re looking for a new show to start think about starting one of these. These five shows are my top five and I wish I could watch them for the first time again. Remember to never judge a show by its title because it could end up being your favorite show!
