Everyone has a TV or movie character who inspires them. Even though these people are just fiction, when you really love that show they mean so much to you. They can inspire you in so many ways, whether it’s who you are or who you want to be. Here are some characters who inspire our team members at Her Campus at Lynn.
Giuliana
To Donna, I absolutely love your energy. I love how you live your life like there’s no tomorrow, because really, there is no tomorrow. And that is really inspiring to me. You’re not afraid of following your dreams and finding a new one at every corner. You also are not afraid of finding love everywhere you go. Not only romantic love, but you make everyone fall for you, or better, admire you. Your energy is so radiant that it’s impossible to not notice you’re around. And that’s exactly what inspires me in you. I also want to be that girl, the one that walks around and leaves a little bit of herself everywhere she steps. I want to be able to dance and sing freely, not be afraid to love, struggle and most of all, be happy. Thank you for that, Donna. You really changed my view on how life is supposed to be: light and fun.

Dear Blair Waldorf, you are one of the most powerful people in Gossip Girl. Although sometimes you may make the wrong decisions and scheme a lot you have become an icon to me and someone I look up to. Some lessons you have taught me along the way have been to stand up for what you believe in, the right outfit can make you feel amazing, and love is important. Throughout the years of watching you I can say you have brought me so much inspiration on how to be the most amazing and extravagant version of myself. I hope one day I will have half the courage you do when standing up for my friends and family. I love you.

Hannah Montana, you have inspired me as you have made the best of both worlds. You showed me that it’s possible to take on so much more than one can think. Taking the life of two people is not easy but you inspired many others, not just me, to do what they aspire to do and be. From your actions it is evident that we can choose the life we really want to live and that the world is our oyster and we can make it what we really want it to be. Also you were living your dream where you could show off your talent. Inspiring me to do the same and to be myself.

Rory Gilmore, you are smart, funny, and creative. The love you have for school, your grandparents, and most importantly your mother, is what inspires me the most. You are witty and sometimes over the top but that is what is the most interesting about you. You inspire me to just be me. People judge you but you have no care in the world for what others think. You just do yourself and believe you can be whatever you want. That is why you inspire me.
