If you haven’t been living under a rock, then you must have heard about iparty. Victorious star Matt Bennett has been touring all over the United States and playing hits from Disney channel and Nickelodeon. IParty was all over my For You page on TikTok. I saw the tour was coming to my city, so I decided to go and see what all the hype was about.
If you were a Disney and Nickelodeon fan like me, the thought of dancing to all the hit throwback songs sounds amazing! Everyone screaming their hearts out to the same song was incredible. Fans were brought on stage to dance out their favorite throwback songs. Seeing everyone singing and dancing to High School Musical together is something everyone should experience. The energy in the room was unbelievable; everyone was living out their childhood dreams!
This does sound like the perfect night, but there is a downside that I was not expecting. The venue was so packed that it became extremely hot. Everyone was dripping in sweat. I’ve been to many concerts in my life, and I have never experienced this magnitude of heat inside a venue. I’m not sure if the venue was over capacity or if I went during the hottest season (August) in Florida. I was all the way in the back, dripping in sweat, so I could not imagine how hot it must have been in the pit of the crowd.
Although this was one of the hottest nights of my life, it was also one of the nights I will cherish forever. Being able to experience this with my best friends is something I would never trade for anything. Creating memories no matter the circumstances is what’s most important in life. You need to enjoy the now with all your friends and family.
