How to Make a Digital Planner

It’s the new school year and things are going to start to get hectic! There are going to be many assignments to keep up with, a social life to handle, and maybe even a job or an internship. These are a lot of things to try and juggle at once (trust me I know!). But the best way to get through it and keep track of it all is through a planner. This is what works best for me and maybe it will work for you too!

So first off, you are probably thinking “why a digital planner?” For me, this is easier because I always have my phone or iPad with me and it makes it easier to access. I always have one or the other on hand so I can quickly pull up my planner to see what I am doing and what assignments I have. Also I do not like carrying around a lot of things so having to carry a planner with me is just not ideal.

Step 1

So the first step on how to make one is to find a template and style that works for you. I personally made mine through Canva. Canva has many different types of cute templates and they are free. There are also apps you can download like Planner Pro-Daily Planner that I have used in the past. I use Canva now because that is what works best for me.

Step 2

The second step is to figure out what kind of sheets you want in your planner. For me I have the whole month and then I split it into weeks so I can focus on exactly what I am doing that specific week. For me, it makes things easier to manage and makes me feel like I do not have so many things to do at once. Here is a link to the personal one I made that you can use too! If this does not work for you or it’s not your style you can always go on Canva and look up planner in the template section and make your own to fit you personally!

Step 3

The last step is to just get all important dates and activities that you have planned and write them down. I write things like assignment due dates, work schedule, plans with friends, and more!

This is really a great tool to use to stay organized and on top of your life. It has truly changed my life and makes everything way easier to follow. Happy Planning!
