So you are at a new school and want to get more involved on campus and make friends. The best way to do this is to join a club! This is a great way to meet new people and make friends!

The first thing you should do is find out when your school is having an involvement fair or some sort of event where you see what clubs your school has to offer. This is a great way to see what your school has to offer and the different kinds of organization you can be a part of. This is where you will meet the President and other members in the club. This is the perfect place to make connections and ask questions about the club and what it has to offer.

The next thing you should do is follow the club on social media, if they have, and get to see what they post and do on the daily. This is how you can really see if it’s the right place for you. After that see what events they have to offer and go to them. This will get you to know more about the club and the members in it. Even if you are an online student or a transfer student there will always be a way you can get involved in these clubs!

This is what I did when I joined Her Campus at Lynn and it was the best thing for me. Going to their events and following their social media made me feel a part of it before I officially joined. Once I started going to the meetings and the events I realized Her Campus was the club for me and I have made so many great friends and connections from it and you will too no matter what club you are in!
