Thank you Mom,
Nine months. In only nine months you created me, protected me, and showed me a love that cannot be explained. You went through the hardest pain that you’ve ever been through to give me a gift. From the moment I was born; we had already created such a strong bond. You’ve cared for me and placed me as one of the most important things in your life now.
You’ve watched me grow and learn from my mistakes. When I tripped and fell as a kid, it was you who felt the most pain. When we were getting ready for my Sweet Sixteen, you were there to calm my nerves. When I graduated from High School, you were screaming the loudest. When I got into Lynn, you were smiling as though you won the lottery. You were there through every tough decision that I faced. But you were also there to celebrate my successes.
You know what makes me happy and sad and angry. You understand me in a way that no one else does. You’ve shown that I should love myself the way you love me. You’ve shown me support for getting an education, something that was foreign to you. You went through tough times, to give me an easier one. You never cease to amaze me in everything you do. You are my idol, the person I wish to be. You are loving, caring, supportive, funny, crazy, and so much more. You bring joy and happiness to life. You bring joy and happiness to my life. And for that I just want to say I love you.
