For anyone that knows me, you already know about my “slight” obsession with Adele. So, since she is back and her album comes out on November 19th, I feel like she deserves to be recognized for her incredible awesomeness. If there is a need for introductions: Adele is an English singer and composer, 33 years old, and has three albums. The albums are named with numbers symbolizing the different periods of her life. Her debut album was “19”, then “21” and last but not least “25”. The date of Adele’s new release is getting very near, and if you are a fan, you’ve anxiously been waiting five years for this moment!
BECAUSE HER SONGS ARE THE BEST:
First of all, the singer does a brilliant job making the people who are listening feel her experiences as if they were living them. If you have never had any sort of a love life, listening to Adele will surely make you feel like you have gone through it all! From a very popular song like “Someone Like You” to a less popular song like “Lovesong”, the lyrics are so well written that you feel like nothing that she is singing is made up in order for her to be popular.
Although Adele’s songs range from pop to soul, the uniqueness of the rhythms combined makes the songs even better. As well as the backup vocalists who can help you feel triumphant through a song like “River Lea” or help you feel extremely sad during “Take It All”. The acoustics are a key part of Adele’s music; the arrangement of the guitars, the drums and the piano allows to create all of these graceful melodies.
BECAUSE OF HER PERSONALITY:
More than a very talented artist, Adele is a woman that has made it in the music industry without following any stereotypes. She embraces everything that makes her unique and does not care about what the public might think. She is a very witty person and is known for having a very distinctive laugh.
Some popular artists that have influenced Adele are Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Destiny’s Child, and Spice Girls. If you listen to these artists you can see some similarities in the sound of some of her songs. So, if you like any of these artists you should try listening to her even more…
