Top Five Underrated Artists to Listen to Over Winter Break

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at LUC chapter.

With winter break quickly approaching, we will all finally have time to just sit back, relax, and listen to some tunes. Winter break is also the time to discover some new music to vibe with and add to your playlists for next semester. Here are 5 underrated artists to check out over break that you might have been missing out on. Enjoy!

1) Chase Atlantic

This indie rock band from Australia, which also happens to be my favorite band of all time, consists of three members: Mitchel Cave, Clinton Cave, and Christian Anthony. The band writes, produces, and performs all of their music on their own. Chase Atlantic’s genre bending sound features music ranging from songs that will make you want to jump into a mosh pit to songs that will put you deep into your feels.

Frames, a 22-year-old musician from Rochester, New York, began producing his own music at age 13 and performing his own vocals as a sophomore in high school school. “Music will always be a love of mine and I’ll continue to create art and improve as long as I’m able to,” says Frames. His self-made sound is one that I recently discovered, and I can’t get enough of it. Between beats that flow through your body and lyrics that are straight fire, Frames is an artist that you must give a listen to. Trust me, you’ll find yourself listening to his music on repeat in no time.
