Are you worried about your standard professional dress inhibiting your first impression with a potential employer during a job interview, boring your classmates during a presentation or embarassing you at a career fair? Then take a few style cues from your fellow classmate and stylista Elizabeth DiMaggio about how to style your business casual look to be trendy and stylish while still dressing appropriately for a professional environment.

The 22-year-old psychology major put an enviable and polished twist on the classic combination of a black skirt, white blouse and jacket for a business casual event on campus. She paired a high waisted A-line skirt with a satin blouse and classic black pumps for a classy, body flattering alternative to the potentially boring and frumpy pairing. She added some texture to her ensemble with a twead jacket and gold statement buttons, allowing her to show her off her individuality among the crowd. She finished her fabulous look with a pop of pink color on her lip and gold statement jewelry, pulling her look together to make her the best dressed girl in the room. Dress like DiMaggio at your next business casual event and you’ll be sure to stand out among the crowd for not only your professional credentials but also your killer style.
