A Guide to False LashesI truly believe one of the most difficult tasks when it comes to cosmetics is picking the right false eyelash that looks great with your eyes. While I think makeup has no rules, these are a few tips that I go by, and will help you to pick the best eyelashes for your eye shape. *BONUS* I linked a few of my favorite versatile lashes that will look great on everyone from all price ranges!

1. Deep-Set Eyes

Deep set eyes tend to have more brow bone space, which makes this shape very versatile! I would recommend going with lashes that have great volume, as this will fill empty space and give the eyes a bigger, more almond-shaped appearance. Deep set eyes can really pull off a dramatic lash!

Lash favorites: Mykonos Lite from Lilly Lashes ($19.99), Caramel from Lilly Lashes ($29.99)

2. Round Eyes

When it comes to round eye shapes, the goal is to elongate and balance out the eyes. Long, wispy lashes are perfect for any babes with this eye shape!

Lash favorites: Ardell 113 ($4.99), Rome from Lilly Lashes ($29.99)

3. Almond Eyes

Anyone with this eye shape could pull off most styles of lashes. You could either play up the almond shape with a flare lash, or round out the eyes with a more voluminous lash.

Lashes: Juliet from House of Lashes ($12), What the Fluff?! from Velour Lashes ($29)

4. Hooded Eyes

For babes with hooded eyes, we want to create more depth. While tapered lashes are great if you cut off a good amount, I highly recommend lashes that flare in the center to add depth to the eye.

Lashes: J_Make_Up by Lilly Lashes ($29.99), Girl, You CRAAZY! by Velour Lashes ($29)

5. Monolid Eyes

For those with monolids, false lashes will help to create an openness to the eyes. Individuals with these features typically have straight lashes, so adding a false lash with some volume and length can help to make the eyes seem bigger.

Lashes: Flash It! by Velour Lashes ($29), Ardell Studio Effects ($5.99)

6. Close Set Eyes

For close set eyes, the goal is to balance out the face and elongate the eyes. I recommend adding a lash that is tapered and flares out on the outer edges.

Lashes: OKURRR! by Lilly Lashes ($25), Iconic by House of Lashes ($12)

7. Downturned Eyes

For any makeup lover with downturned eyes, adding a wing will help to lift the outer edges of the eyes. I would recommend adding a balanced, classic lash to enhance the cat eye.

Lash: Diamonds by Lilly Lashes ($19.99), Ardell Faux Mink Demi Wispies (Twin Pack- $10.49)

8. Prominent Eyes

For anyone with prominent eyes, the options are really endless! I would recommend with going for a voluminous lash with varying lengths to complement the eyes.

Lashes: Serendipity by Velour Lashes ($29), Ardell Faux Mink Wispies ($6.49)

I hope this helps all of you out! xx
