Every year, Halloween seems to come out of nowhere; this year was no different. You start thinking of costume ideas in August, but by the time October rolls around, you have not gotten around to buying or making it. So, you are left frantically searching the internet for new ideas. Here is a list of 10 unique costumes you can make out of stuff you already have:

1. Pineapple

You can achieve this cute look by putting on any yellow shirt or dress you own. You can make the pineapple top by fringing one side of a green piece of construction paper and rolling it into a cone. All you have to do bobby pin it or attach it to a headband – and voila!

2. A Beautiful Day

Throw on a blue sweater or T-shirt and attach some cottonballs into cloud formations. Make a sunray to wear on the back of your head, and throw on your some shades.

3. Facebook

All this look takes is a marker. If you want to go even further, you can wear a blue button up shirt and tie, and be Jim Halpert as Facebook.

4. Rosie the Riveter

This costume is so simple. Wear a button up, throw your hair up in a bandana, and some red lips. Bonus: this look is Beyonce-approved.

5. Sailor

Grab a navy striped shirt, and pair it with boat shoes and a sailor hat. That is it!

6. Burglar

This is another costume that utilizes a striped shirt. Add a ski mask and a pillowcase, and you’re a burglar.

7. Alien

Grab any neon or metallic clothes you have, and rock some space buns and sparkly makeup. You come in peace!

8. Wednesday Addams

Replicate Wednesday’s iconic look with black clothing and braided pigtails.

9. Comic Book Character

This costume is unique because all it takes is make up. Outline all your features, and use bright colors and draw dots all over. It looks awesome!

10. Leopard

This look is also makeup based. You can use bronzer and brown eyeliner to draw leopard spots, a nose, and whiskers. You can also achieve the cat eye by extending your eyeliner on both the inner and outer parts of your eye.

If these don’t work for you, you can buy a pair of animal ears, nerd glasses, or a cowboy hat, and you are good to go! Halloween is always a blast, so try not stress about the costume to much. Just rock whatever you’ve got, and have fun!
