Why did you come to Lehigh?

When I first visited Lehigh my sophomore year of high school to visit my older sister’s friends I fell in love with the campus. Ever since then I knew that Lehigh was where I wanted to go.

What has been your favorite memory of Lehigh?

My favorite memory of Lehigh was the weekend that Lehigh beat Duke. The game was Friday night as well as my big/little reveal for my sorority and then Saturday was St. Patrick’s Day. Sunday morning my friends and I woke up at 5am and drove to North Carolina to watch Lehigh play Xavier.

What are you involved in on campus?

On campus I am part of Greek life, ASA, and I am part of the global citizenship program. I am member of Alpha Phi and will be the 2012-2013 Global Citizenship Student Committee President.

What will you be doing on your Global citizenship trip to Malaysia?

On our 12 day trip to Malaysia we will be exploring the country in many different ways. We are going to be visiting a rubber plantation and palm oil plantation. We will also be doing homestays with local Malaysian families. In addition we will be visiting famous historic sites like the Batu caves and hopefully working with refugees. I am really excited for our meeting with the US ambassador and our Lehigh alumni gathering. Finally we are ending our trip with a go away dinner with cultural performances and amazing food, just in time to return to Lehigh (literally the night before classes start).

Where do you see yourself in ten years?

I see myself living in Norway and working in Oslo.
