How to Look Cute AND Feel Comfy for Thanksgiving

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Le Moyne chapter.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays! After working hard all semester, it’s so nice to finally see my family again and just enjoy food together. I love that this whole holiday revolves around food and eating. There is nothing more I have to do than hang out with my family and eat!

Even though eating is the goal, there is no reason not to look cute! I love to show off my style to all my long time no see family.

Big Sweaters

Sweaters are a must! They are comfortable and great for covering up food babies. No restricting clothing allowed!

Leggings

This is the especially perfect holiday to wear leggings. Rock a cute design or just plain black but either way you’re still gonna have room for dessert. We’re gonna bet that even Uncle John will want a pair for Thanksgiving.

Scarves

It’s starting to get cold out and these are the perfect accessories! They can upgrade any outfit even if you’re wearing sweatpants. Just make sure you don’t get any gravy on it.

The perfect lip color

To me, the perfect fall lip color is maroon or beige but if you’re color is red then go for it! Just forget to dab away the excess or else it’s gonna end all over your face.

Booties

I’m talking about the shoes! My favorite heels are these cute black booties that makes me look taller and cute! I also love that I only have to wear them from the car to my grandparent’s house and then I can take them off.

Fuzzy socks

Who really wear shoes during Thanksgiving? Once I get to my grandparent’s house I immediately take off my shoes. I wear the fuzziest socks to keep my feet warm!
