Why My Vision Board Will Help Me Succeed in 2023

Do you have goals, dreams, and aspirations for 2023? If your answer is yes, then, imagine a physical or virtual collage of pictures or inspirational phrases tailored just to your dreams and desires. Well, you don’t have to imagine, because this is called a vision board and it’s an uplifting tool that I love.

I made a vision board for 2023 because there are goals that I want to achieve this year and being able to see them in an aesthetically pleasing collage reminds me to keep working towards them.

I made a vision board for 2022 and even though I didn’t accomplish everything, I accomplished most of what I put on my board. As 2022 went on, whenever I completed a goal on my board, I felt enlightened because something I worked toward was manifesting before my eyes. So, since this was such a success for me last year, I made my 2023 vision board reflect what I am sure I will achieve this year. It also serves as a memento because it shows where my headspace was at this certain year of my life as a 20-something.

Furthermore, vision boards are not only useful but they’re fun to make, and I encourage everyone to make one. If you don’t know what to put on yours, there’s inspiration everywhere. There are YouTube videos, Pinterest ideas, Instagram posts, and so many other social media platforms to look at.

In the end, I am determined that 2023 will be full of success and it can be for you too. I just took the first step with my vision board!

Hi! My name is Celeste and I am currently a senior, majoring in Health Science at Lasell University. On campus, I am involved in a variety of clubs such as HerCampus, the Student Government Association as the VP of Academics, the Campus Activities Board, and the Knitting Club. Also, I intern at a health center as a patient resource advocate and I work at the IT Help Desk on my campus. In my spare time, my favorite things to do are read, watch videos or movies, and sit and chat with my friends!
