Com Day is an event is held for anyone who wants to attend, but specifically for students majoring in communication. Located in De Witt hall, students stopped by for some delicious food and informative lectures by some very influential speakers in the communication industry as well as some Lasell Alumni.
Com Day is a great networking opportunity for undergrads to get their name out there. With that being said, I was shocked to see that the majority of students in attendance were dressed too casually. However, the students that intended on utilizing this event for networking did dress for the affair quite well. Pencil skirts and blouses were most frequent with the ladies and khakis and button down shirts or polo’s were common among men. There were multiple girls wearing a blazer, statement necklace with a plain top, jeans, and flats. Although this is a cute look for every day, it may not have been the most appropriate choice for networking. Needless to say, Com Day was hit and many of Lasell’s very own dressed the part for the event.
