If you still happen to have your pumpkin seeds laying around, keep reading for some pumpkin seed snacks. Pumpkins and pumpkin seeds are also on sale now, as it is after Halloween, so go grab yourself some and try this recipe! Pumpkin seeds are a wonderful topper for food like salads, or even as a snack! They have a nice crunch but are much more healthy than some other crunchy foods like chips. My favorite thing to do is to make some trail mix

 and throw these in!

 

Preliminary Steps:

Venture to your local trader joes, and pick up these three seasonings.

  • Chili lime seasoning
  •  Everything but the bagel
  • Cinnamon sugar

 

Other supplies: 

  • Olive oil
  • Roasting pan
  • 3 small bowls
  • Baking Sheet

 

Recipe 1: Chilli lime spiced pumpkin seeds:

 

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  2. Take 1 cup pumpkin seeds and place into a bowl

  3. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil

  4. Mix to combine

  5. Sprinkle chili lime seasoning ( about 1 tablespoon)

  6. Mix till everything is incorporated

  7. Put in the oven for 8 to 12 minutes

  8. Cook until golden brown

  9. Enjoy :)

 

Recipe 2: Everything but the bagel infused pumpkin seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Take 1 cup pumpkin seeds and place into a bowl

  3. Add 1 teaspoon olive oil

  4. Mix to combine

  5. Sprinkle everything but the bagel seasoning

  6. Mix again

  7. Put in the oven for 8 to 12 minutes

  8. Cook until golden brown

  9. Enjoy :)
