This week’s Campus Celebrity is none other than Justin Bruce, a familiar face to many and if a club leader, someone who frequents our inboxes.
Justin has been working at Lasell for the past three and a half years as the Coordinator of Student Organizations at the Office of Student Activities (OSA). His job is to work with clubs on campus and keep them on track. He works in different areas such as programming and orientation, and focuses on diversity and inclusion. Not only does he work with all of the clubs, but he also advises three clubs: yearbook, the dance team and the Class of 2017.
“It gives an opportunity for people to succeed,” Justin says about the clubs on campus. “I’m always encouraging clubs to work together and I hope to help them strengthen.”
This year was especially important to Justin, because while being the coordinator at OSA, he and his wife welcomed their first child, a daughter, in January. “Being a new dad is like being a college student, you get the same amount of sleep,” he jokes.
Justin is always working to help clubs and organize events, and you’re likely to see him anywhere around on campus every week. If you can’t find him, you can bet he’ll be at his office on the second floor of Arnow Campus Center, working hard for the OSA.
