If you know me, you know how much I love music and love going to concerts. My music taste is also what I would describe as chaotic, which matches my personality very well. However, as much as I love my favorite bands and love concerts, I don’t get to go to as many as I would like. So, these are some bands and artists (in no particular order) that I would love to see in concert.

  1. Taylor Swift

It’s no secret that I’m a swiftie and most of the songs I listen to are Taylor Swift. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get tickets to The Eras Tour. I’m hoping that one day I will get to see her in concert since Taylor Swift is one of my biggest idols and her music has gotten me through some of my hardest days. I would especially like to see her perform her song “Don’t Blame Me” from her album Reputation

  1. Metallica

I know this is very different from number one but Metallica is one of my favorite bands. I’m a guitar player who also loves metal music, it’s no surprise that I love this band. A couple of songs that I would love to hear them perform are “Master of Puppets” and “One”. It would be really cool to see one of the most iconic bands in concert.

  1. Arctic Monkeys

I love the vibe of this band. I prefer their old music compared to their new music but they have some bops, nonetheless. Two of my favorite songs are “R U Mine?and “I Wanna Be Yours” off of their album AM. But the vibes of this band are top tier.

  1. One Direction

I know this one seems like an outlier, but seeing this band in concert would be so nostalgic. I still have hope that one day they will come back together or at least do a collab purely for nostalgia purposes. However, even seeing their concerts while they were in their prime, seems like an experience in itself.

  1. Waterparks

The vibes of this band are indescribable. I recently started listening to them but the vibes are all immaculate. One of their songs, “Telephone”, was featured in the Netflix show, Heartstopper. A lot of their songs are absolute bops, especially if you like emo/alternative music. Seeing them grow their career and their music is really cool to me and their concert would be otherworldly.

  1. Black Sabbath

This is on the list for reasons similar to Metallica. This band is such a classic, especially for those who like metal music. Hearing the guitar solos in person would be a gnarly experience, especially in songs like “Children of the Grave” with parts of the songs having two different guitars playing different solos at the same time.

  1. Noah Kahan

Last but not least, this is an artist that is slowly rising. Definitely a different vibe from the others but again, still a vibe. One of my favorite songs in general, “Stick Season”, was actually my top song on my 2022 Spotify Wrapped. I think that if I saw this artist in concert, I would cry if this song played. I definitely recommend giving his music a listen if you haven’t already.
