If there’s one thing the Easter break calls for, it’s a Primark haul. Luckily, when I’m back home, I have access to two HUGE stores. And so, as I made my way to the tills of one of these stores, holding the remainder of my bank balance in a handful of hangers, something caught my eye.

“Nail polishes for one pound each?”, I thought, “you probably get what you pay for, but they’re worth a go.” I candidly picked out three summery colours, my expectations low.

Little did I know, these nail polishes would change my life.

I struggle to grow my nails, so have only ever merely flirted with nail polishes, instead opting for falsies on special occasions and my stubby, practical nails day-to-day. This nail polish has changed all of the above.

These £1 nail polishes are a gel-like formula, meaning they do not show a single chip for days. This adds strength to my brittle nails, meaning they have grown longer than they have ever been within weeks. They also come in literally any colour you could wish for. My collection now consists of a coral-fuchsia colour, which is going to optimise my summer, black, white, a bright red, and a deep denim-blue.

But you’d best believe this collection will be growing every single week.
