The word “oil” seems to fill everyone with fear thinking that the immediate result of using it will cause oilier skin leading to breakouts or oily hair making it look greasy and unwashed.
However, there has been a huge revelation in the beauty world where beauty oils and hair oils are becoming an everyday staple in lots of people’s regimes. These three oils tend to be the most hyped about so let’s look at what they are best used for and some of the best products that contain them.
Best all round Oil: Coconut Oil
Coconut oil us great as it can be used on the hair, face, skin and even in cooking
Key benefits:
– Great moisturiser
– Softens skin
– When used in cooking it is said to be healthiest oil as it can be heated to high temperatures without turning “toxic”
Warnings:
– When using coconut oil on your face it can block pores so be careful if you are prone to breakouts
– Whilst it makes a great hair mask, be sure to wash it out or it will leave it soft but oily

This one is cheap and is great for use on hair and skin but do not use it in cooking as it is fragranced.
Whilst this one is more expensive it is raw so it can be used in cooking as well as for beauty purposes.
