How to improve your bad habits:

  • If you catch yourself feeling down, try to think more positively
  • Start your morning with meditation
  • Say 5 things you love about yourself
  • Stretch
  • I know motivation and staying positive can be hard to do every day but with a few changes your life can be turned around.

Meditation

Sit in a dark room, on the floor. Sit up, because good posture is key. Close your eyes. Think of either something that makes you happy or just a blank space. See how long you can stay in that state of mind for. When you open your eyes, you will feel like a brand new person.

Stretch

If you google relaxing slow stretches, a list will come up with positions such as up dog and straddle. Stretching is not only good for the body, but good for the mind and soul. This helps open up your mind and think more clearly, while also relaxing yourself before starting your day.

Loving yourself

Think of every day as a new start. Be thankful you woke up because not everyone gets that chance. Be thankful for what you have and where you are in life. Stay positive. You got this. When life brings you down, there are always ways to bring you and your soul back up!
