A Quick Chat With Jacob Bodager

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kenyon chapter.

How do you feel about being named campus CELEBRITY?

It’s better than chicken finger day in pierce.

Chicken fingers…not chicken patties?

Fingers are always better than patties. With patties, there is pressure to use a bun. Fingers know who they are and they aren’t afraid to stand alone. They’re also more rare at Peirce.

Do you identify more with the fingers than the patties?

Absolutely not, I have a panic attack every time I walk into new side. Ask me better questions.

Okay, rude. Moving on…tell me what you do on campus!

So many things.  I’m involved in The Company, Kenyon’s premiere musical theatre/comedy/rampantly sexy singing group.  I also work in the library, shelving the books you all leave lying around.

Will you be performing soon? Or…working in the library?

Working on some things. Top secret stuff, you know. For a top secret kind of guy. OH, and I’m also on a gay crusade.

Can you tell me a little about that?

Basically, for a long time I would watch offensive videos on youtube and read offensive things on facebook about my people and I would just get mad and stew and fume.  Now I post back.  YOU CANNOT SILENCE MY QUEER VOICE.

In the words of Jesse McCartney, “How (then) do you sleep?”

On my stomach, with a fan on.  Or sometimes on my back.  I’m versatile like that.
