HCK: What’s your favorite trip or vacation that you’ve ever taken?
AB: Although I loved visiting China, my favorite trip has to be seeing my grandparents in Toronto, Canada.
Why did you choose to become a DA?
I really care about people—a lot. Like most of us, growing up I was exposed to disturbing instances of discrimination— both directed at me and at others. When I heard that Kenyon had started the DA program, I knew I had to be a part of it.
What diversity-related issue are you most passionate about?
I particularly like to focus on socio-economic discrimination and ethnic/racial discrimination. It doesn’t matter where you were born, who you were born, or how much your family has, every person should have the opportunity to chase their dreams.
