On Sunday, Katy Perry surprised everyone during the Super Bowl halftime show. There were guest appearances from Lenny Kravitz, dancing sharks and the one and only Missy Elliott. Our generation basically had one big heart attack when Missy entered onto the field.
Katy’s performance was fun, bubbly and eclectic. The best aspect of her show was not her dancing, but her outfits! The second outfit was modeled after a beach ball…how adorable!? Katy Perry really knows how to put on a cute and creative show. She did a great mixture of her new and old songs. Missy Elliott even incorporated Perry into her songs “Work It” and “Get Ur Freak On.”
The number one question every girl asked herself while watching the performace: “Where are her shoes from?” They were perfect with every outfit that she wore.
A lot of people were nervous about how Katy’s voice would hold up during the performance, but her voice was good and she really hit that Roar during her opening song. Perry showed us that she is a force to be reckoned with and is now able to say that she has the highest rated Halftime Show ever!
