Welcome back, Bachelor fans! Week four puts us about a third of the way through this season. It’s exciting (and kind of sad) to see the girls drop like flies as Colton narrows down his search to find love. Will he find it? We don’t know. But maybe this week gives him insight on who he sees as his future wife.

Tayshia’s one-on-one

We haven’t had a whole lot of interview time with Tayshia, but I really like what I saw. Their time in Singapore showed us Tayshia’s fun and genuine side, and that she really is here to explore a romance with Colton. At the start of their day, the couple went bungee jumping…gotta love a date where they can *literally* fall in love. I honestly don’t have much else to say about this date except for the fact that I was pleasantly surprised with Tayshia.

Group Date

Would you allow someone to stick a leech on you to suck out and filter your blood? These 13 ladies did. On top of that, pig feet, animal eyes of some sort and bull frog was on the menu during this date. Personally, you can count me out on this entire date. But, I guess the girls have no choice but to suck it up and venture out of their comfort zones.

Demi continuously shows herself as the drama queen each week, and this week her latest victim was Courtney. We don’t know much about Courtney (and honestly, we don’t really care becasue at this point we know she’s not a front runner) but all we know is that she’s dramatic. We’ve seen her complain about not getting time with Colton again and again, but at some point it becomes her fault for not asserting herself. Demi attempts to tell Courtney this in the nicest way that she knows how, but it only ends up offending Courtney which leads to some nasty discussions involving Colton in the drama.

Fun fact: According to Reality Steve (the infamous Bachelor spoiler), Demi worked at Pottery Barn before coming on the show last fall. Her profession displayed on the show tells us she’s an interior designer. I’ll let you decide which one is more accurate.

Caelynn’s one-on-one

This is the date the ladies dream of when applying for this show…but only one emerges as the lucky lady. Colton brought Caelynn to a shopping mall where she was treated like royalty while Colton (The Bachelor franchise) bought all sorts of luxury clothing items for her. Caelynn did seem deserving of this date in regards to her staying positive and keeping to herself while the drama in the house continues.

Caelynn gave us all a bit of a shock and brought us back to reality within just a few moments on her date. If you missed it, Caelynn opened up to Colton about her sophomore year of college where she was raped and sexually assaulted at a party. Caelynn gave some pretty detailed insights from that night, and showed her strength through all that she’s been through.

PSA: Women, your stories matter. You matter. We live in a society where women are beginning to conquer their fears of telling their stories; let’s continue that trend.

An update on Caelynn and Hannah B.

Caelynn pulled aside Hannah B. during the rose ceremony to confront their relevant issues. In my opinion, this was the right move, and should have happened night one. Girls are girls. We aren’t easy to deal with sometimes, and that’s okay.

Rose Ceremony

At the end of the night, we said goodbye to Courtney and Tracy.
