Alright ladies, let’s be honest with each other. Shower sex is a very controversial romantic interaction. Some movies and TV shows paint it as the height of sexual interactions, whereas some forms of media describe it as uncomfortable and not worth it. I’m here to tell you it’s awesome and intimate, just as long as you know exactly why you should love it and how you should do it. Sometimes, the most romantic thing you can do is move your sexy time out of the bedroom and into a warm, sudsy, STEAMY shower!

Get clean and get dirty at the same time this Valentine’s Day with these reasons to love shower sex.

1. Several sex toys are waterproof for a reason.

2. There are lubes made special for getting down and dirty in the tub.

3. You have several places to bend over, or be pushed up against!

Sometimes bedroom walls get boring. SPICE IT UP!

4. You might be able to check yourselves out in the mirror if you’re into that. Wink, wink!

5. Clean up is super easy.

You can shampoo, condition and wash each other, too!

6. You can get it on in the morning here and start your day fresher than a good body wash could ever make you feel.

7. When taking a bath, you can experiment with sensual bath bombs and bubbles, maybe even a good face mask.

8. The steamy and warm air makes you feel comfortable and safe. This makes foreplay sexier and easier on all of you.

9. You can take it super slow in a bath with candles and wine and go with the flow… literally.

10. It’s GREEN! Think of all that water you’re saving.

Save the Earth. Do it in the shower.

BONUS: It’s a great place to have fun flying solo;)

Words of caution: Make sure your bathtub and shower space are clean for this activity. Additionally, a rubber bath mat is highly recommended in order to reduce the risk of slips and falls. Avoid condoms if possible, as they are likely to slip off.
