Whether romantic or platonic, sometimes it is challenging to come up with plans to meet a friend or a new potential beau. Yes, you can grab a bite to eat or view a movie, but it can be repetitive depending on how often you go out. You might want to try out an activity but are unsure what to do. So, here are a few ideas to try.

1. Bowling

You probably have not been bowling since you were a kid or think it is not an activity for adults. But most bowling allies have adult nights, including drinks to spice up the night. Just make sure you have a designated driver if you plan on having a really fun night.

2. CANDLE-MAKING

This one is a more calm and chill activity to try. You can find them possibly near you and can bring your own bottle for an extra kick of fun. It is a nice icebreaker and is less daunting than sitting across someone at a restaurant trying to figure out what to talk about.

3. SKATING

This might not be for the clumsy, but it is a great way to learn something new while meeting someone for the first time. You might fall a few times, but once you get the hang of it, it will be a fun time with some much-needed laughter.

4. ESCAPE ROOM

Why not put your thinking cap on for a night of fun? You might find yourself laughing throughout it, trying to figure a way out of the room. Plus, there are different types of scenarios to play around with, from mysteries to true crime.

If you cannot figure out what to do, here are a few things you might want to plan for an evening out. Or things you could try on your own for a self-care date as well!
