Taylor Johnson is a sophomore, second year, from Passaic, New Jersey. She is like any other student at Kean University, but her hard work and involvement is what sets her apart from her peers. Taylor Johnson is a secondary education English major and is currently taking every step there needs to be done to better her future. Currently interning at a preschool and observing at Piscataway high school, she hopes to become a high school English teacher and hope to inspire children to become the best person they can be.

Beyond school and work, Taylor loves to have a great time among her friends and peers around campus. She enjoys little gatherings and meeting new people. Her fun and bubbly personality is what’s attracts people to her.

Johnson is definitely a dependable student, role model, and friend. Without a doubt, she sets the bar for hardworking Kean students like herself. Keep up the outstanding work Taylor.

I received my Associate's degree in Liberal Arts Journalism at Middlesex County College. I have a variety of Journalism experience. I was in charge of children's newsletter at a summer camp program. I worked on a news report at MCC about a program called "Give Kids a Smile" and this program provided free dental care to children. I am great at digital photography, interviewing, and networking. I also wrote for two school newspapers.The first was "Quo Vadis" for Middlesex County College. I am currently a second time writer for "The Tower" newspaper at Kean. I am currently the Vice President of Her Campus for the Fall semester 2013 and during the Spring I will be the President of Her Campus Kean magazine. This May 2014 I will be graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Communications/ Journalism.
