Imfamuz Tev drops “Welcome to the Underworld” EP

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kean chapter.

The same underrated Disc Jockey that brought you viral hits such as, “The Worst Jersey club mix”, “We Are Your Friends” and “Can’t be Friends Jersey club mix” , took his artistic creativity to the next level.

DJ Tev who also goes under the alias Infamuz , dropped his second debut mixtape yesterday. This new collection is titled “Welcome to the Underworld”.

Infamuz, been expanding his talent toward new heights, he started creating hip-hop beats as well!

The 22-year old, Bloomfield native, surprised me with his unique talent in “Welcome to the Underworld”.

The mixtape contains seven tunes that all mesh well together. The tape ends just like a movie. I see Bishop Nehru, The Underachievers and Moruf rapping over these beats to name a few.

These beats are not only rapper friendly, but invites room for new exploration. “VNMTD”, which is track five, seems to work well with a spoken word piece as well. The melodic 90’s hip-hop vibe is not unnoticed.

Infamuz begins his mixtape with encouraging personalities, telling him to chase his dream.

Track three “MXBBXN”, is a very catch, fast paced aggressive track.

The album ends with an extra track “mirrors”, which is a remix to the original Jhene Aiko song.

All in all, I am sincerely impressed. Im not gassing or nothing, just appreciating great talent. Infamuz’s  has a rare artistic ability and knows how to wrap something into a masterpiece all together.
