Fun Checklist of Ideas for Valentine’s Day.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Kean chapter.

Hello Kean Students,

February is here, so lets just relax before midterm stress get us. At the beginning of February, it felt like a winter break due by the snow storms, also some students getting sick by the flu. Many people can’t wait for Spring Break already including me. We all know that when February is coming to town. We are all thinking about a specific day the 14th, in other words Valentine’s Day.

We all get those butterflies in our tummies. At Kean a lot of events are occurring, it doesn’t matter if you are a commuter student or live on campus, thinking you can’t go to any of those events because you have responsibilities to do. Well, don’t worry Valentine’s Day can be any day of the year. So, are you wondering what you are going to do at your Valentines week, meaning the 11th and the 14th of February. We all know that Valentine’s day is the 14th of February, but who cares.

Here is a To Do Check List of what to do on your week. Like why not attending the “Speed Dating”” hosted by the brothers of Betta Kappa Psi. Or the “D.Y.I for you LOVE” hosted by Office Residential Student Services. Still not a interesting….what about buying for a good cause.

The sisters of Lambda Theta Alpha is selling bake goods to fundraise the National Philanthropy St. Jude Children Research Hospital. How awesome is that, but still thinking about doing something special for someone. Well you have the opportunity to do that, the sisters of Lambda Tau Omega are able to help you out and do it.

Also, for all the creative minds at Kean the Campus Life Activities for Student Success aka C.L.A.S.S is hosting an event to create your own creature to give someone, or for yourself. Really interesting events are going on at Kean. There should be jealousy with other colleges/universities, but hey who doesn’t like Kean. Are you really ready for this week ? Come out out of your shell and have fun. Happy Valentine’s Day!
