Tips to Make Sure You’re Drinking Enough Water

If you’re anything like me, you don’t drink the amount of water you should be throughout the day. If so, here are some tips that will help you change that bad habit. This is especially important during the summer when it is really hot out.

    Getting a water tracker app or reminder will help you remember to drink more water throughout the day. Sometimes you just don't think about it or you forget so this can help you stay on tracker. An app is more helpful than just setting a reminder on your phone because it can show you your water intake and give you helpful health tips. 

  2. 2. Time-Increment Water Bottles

    These water bottles also serve as a reminder of when to drink water and how much water you need to drink at different times during the day. You might not even need to specifically get a time increment water bottle. Sometimes just buying a cute new water bottle is enough motivation or incentive to get you to drink more water.

  3. 3. Fruit Infused Water

    This is something you can do if you want to add some flavor to an otherwise plain but essential drink. Instead of grabbing a bottle of juice, you can just add fruit or lemons to your water to incentivise you even more. Not only will it give your water more flavor but it’s also healthy. 

  4. 4. Order a Glass of Water With Your Meal

    In addition to ordering whatever drink you want with your meal, starting off with a glass of water will ensure that you are drinking water throughout the day.

    A tip for the summer is eating watermelon. Watermelon is made up of 92% of water and helps in your journey of making sure you stay hydrated during the summer heat.
