Temporary Metallic Tattoos

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

Let’s face it, temporary tattoos have been around for as long as we can remember. But the latest trend in fashion has been temporary metallic tattoos. Whether it’s from Lacy Fashion Tats to Flash Tats, these metallic fashion adornments have become popular with groups of all ages and even celebrities, such as the “Queen Bey” herself. These fashion tattoos are designed after real jewelry items and are perfect for any occasion. Go from super boho with arrows and tribal patterns to chic and classy with stacked ornaments on the wrist. Can’t decide on which designs to choose? Don’t worry, Flash Tats has you covered with 11 different, non-toxic collections: Child of Wild, Chloe, Dakota, Goldfish Kiss, Goldfish Kiss H2O, Josephine, Lena, Nikki, Sheebani, Sofia, and Zahra, with each costing about $20 – $30. The collections individually include 3-4 sheets of tattoos, and they last about 4-6 days depending on their placement and how well you take care of them.

Lacy Fashion Tattoos are a little harder to find, but can still be ordered offline anywhere from Amazon to ModCloth (I got mine at the bookstore) and are much cheaper in price. Lacy supplies only one roll of tattoos, which would typically be wrapped around the ankles, fingers, and wrists. But don’t be afraid to try out some new ways to wear them!
