4 Necessities for Finals Week

1. Dry shampoo. We all have those days when we don’t want to shower and wash our hair, especially during final exams. Not to fear! Dry shampoo is here! There are so many options in the drugstore. My personal favorite is either Batiste (if you can find it), or Dove! Both of these give my hair some extra volume and most importantly, they get rid of the excess oil in my hair. Such a time saver.

2. Tinted moisturizer. This product can be a life saver on busy days. Skip your heavy foundation and concealer, and use tinted moisturizer or BB cream instead! This will enhance your complexion, without looking cakey, and make you look more alive (even though you just spent 12 hours in the ECL quiet room).

3.  Makeup removing wipes. If you haven’t discovered these yet, get in your car, go to Walmart, and get yourself a pack. They are fantastic. If you just spent the night in Carrier and now feel really oily and gross, one wipe will do the trick! Wipe your day old makeup off, and apply a tinted moisturizer to look refreshed and awake! Your skin will thank you.

4. SleepSeriously. We know you are stressed about getting good grades, but pulling multiple all-nighters is NOT HEALTHY. Take the time to sleep for at least 3-5 hours before your exam if you can (even if this means sleeping on the floor of a library and having a friend wake you up).  Studies show that sleep can actually improve your test taking skills!
