The 12 Stages of Being Antisocial as Told by Donald Trump

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JMU chapter.

While Donald Trump has been stirring things up in the political world, it turns out that he seems to have a pretty good grasp on the world of anti-socialites as well. Though we pretend-to-be-listening-to-music-so-no-one-will-talk-to-me-ers like to think of ourselves as a rare, misunderstood breed, Mr. Trump has somehow found his way into our ranks. And if you’re still a little bit skeptical after seeing his solid gold membership card, the following gifs will prove that Donald Trump has experienced every netflix-and-chill-by-myself thought you’ve ever had.

1. When you see someone from school somewhere other than school.

2. When your mom asks if you’ve talked to anyone today.

3. When the syllabus says class participation is 50% of your grade.

4. When you try to pretend like you’re invested in the conversation.

5. When professors tell you to talk to the people around you.

6. When people ask if they can come over and hang out.

7. When your friends ask if you want to go out or stay in.

8. And when they ask again ten minutes later.

9. “Do you want to come out with us?” “HELL no…I mean, no. No, thank you.”

10. When you try to find an excuse for cancelling plans but you’ve already used all of your good ones.

11. Maybe “never leaving the house again” will be our always.

12. “Never leaving the house again?” “Never leaving the house again.”
