The Ultimate Finals Study Playlist

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Jefferson chapter.

With the end of the semester quickly approaching, there is one thing on everyone’s minds – finals. Cramming your brain with a semesters’ worth of information can be extremely stressful, especially when all you can think of is how much happier you’ll be when you’re laying on the beach. But no need to fear! The girls at Her Campus got you covered! Here are some tracks to play on repeat to keep you calm and focused, brighten your mood and motivate you, and for when you need a spontaneous dance break from all the stress!

Keep You Calm & Focused:

These are the perfect songs to have on in the background of your study session. They’re a nice balance of relaxing enough to not be distracting but not too relaxing that they’ll make you fall asleep at your desk.

Also, if you’re into musicals, the Hamilton soundtrack is a really good one to listen to while cramming! HC member Kellyn has had it on repeat lately. HC member Abbey suggests artists and bands such as George Ezra, Kodaline, and Ben Rector. They all have very chill and laid back vibes that would be perfect to listen to while studying. If you like instrumental music, you could try listening to Ahn Trio’s “Lullaby for My Favorite Insomniac,” as suggested by HC editor Christiana! For all you Directioners out there, HC member Jess C. recommends “I want to write you a song.” There’s the sound of someone writing on a piece of a paper in it which is perfect for school work! HC member Julia has been listening to a lot of Taylor Swift and Rachel Platton and their girl power anthems get her late nights studying. Good luck, collegiettes!
