Every year, PhilaU students put together a Pop-Up shop to raise money for the non-profit organization Chemo Clothes.
Chemo Clothes helps patients fighting cancer, cancer survivors, their family, and their friends. The organization is in memory of Deb Levy, who passed in 2008. Deb became the inspiration for the organization Chemo Clothes when she started knitting scarves while receiving chemotherapy treatment. This led to the idea of an organization that would give a creative outlet to patients and those wanting to get involved in the charity.
This year PhilaU’s Pop-up shop theme is Winter Luxe, offering handmade luxury products for yourself as well as family and friends. The products offered have a warm, yet bright feeling. The Pop-Up shop will be held in Kanbar Performance Space on December 2nd from 10am-3pm. Come support your fellow students as well as Chemo Clothes while also getting quality products.
