To my college besties,

I’ve been meaning to write to each of you individually and tell you how thankful I am for you, but then I got a burst of inspiration and decided to write this instead.

I never knew that I could click with people this much in such a short amount of time. You guys were rays of sunshine on sunny days, and then the light behind the clouds on the darker days. I could not have survived my first semester of college without you. You guys have seen me at all hours of the night, have shared countless meals with me, and have been such a source of positive energy in the most stressful times. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for you guys. You are such special humans and I felt so compelled to let you know how much I appreciate you girls.

To my legitimate partner in crime (I know that phrase is overused but it is completely appropriate in this situation), you are my forever best friend. We have the absolute best time together, and I would not trade our instant mac’ and Netflix nights for anything in the world. It wasn’t long into our friendship that I realized we’d be friends forever. I truly believe people are placed in our life for a reason, and I am beyond excited to see you work as a nurse alongside me. You have done so much for me and talked me out of some of the lowest times and I couldn’t thank you enough.

To my fellow yogi, you keep me grounded when I need it most. I have never met anyone like you in my whole life, and I am so happy I found someone to share my love for yoga and crystals with. Thank you for including me, for making me dinner, and for being my legit soul sister.

To my fellow avocado lover, our heart to hearts are the best. I always feel like I can talk to you, because I know you’ll support and love me no matter what. You get what it’s like to be in a long-distance relationship and I love that I can share that with you. I can’t wait to go through these four years with you and see where life takes us.

To my absolute day one, our parents met for a reason, because if they didn’t I never would’ve been blessed with a friend like you. You’ve literally stuck with me since the orientation days, and I love that even if I don’t see you for a little while we can pick up right where we left off.

To the musically talented of the bunch, you are such an inspiration. You are my go-to and it’s even better you live so close ;) You are the kindest person and have the biggest heart. You are worth so much and I never want you to forget that.

I don’t think you guys realize how much I’ve needed you in my life. You have all provided me sources of positivity in times of such need, and I love you guys so much for that.

You all know who you are.

Love you always,

Marina
