Philadelphia hasn’t seen snow in 662 days…that is until this past week. We were lucky enough to get 2 pretty major storms. This has completely transformed the neighborhood into a picturesque winter wonderland. Taking full advantage of this fun weather, there are plenty of snow activities that will make the most of the season. From classic winter sports to unique local experiences, East Falls offers a range of options to enjoy the snow-covered landscape.

Sledding at McMichael Park:

  • McMichael Park, nestled in the heart of East Falls, becomes a hub of excitement when the snow falls. Families often gather with their sleds to experience the rush down the park’s gentle slopes. With its scenic views and open spaces, McMichael Park provides the perfect setting for a day filled with laughter and adventure.

Snowball Fights and Fort Building:

  • For those seeking a more active snow experience, organizing a friendly snowball fight or building snow forts can be a fun way to engage with the winter elements.
