We all have bad days. So, the question is, how do we get through them? Well, sometimes all we need is a little pick me up to get through the day. I asked around and found some easy confidence boosters for those days where you just need a little help getting by.

1. Lipstick

Although a bit daunting, a nice lip color is a great way to boost confidence, dress up your outfit, and overall make it look like you put more time into getting ready that morning. Rock a bold red lip or a simple neutral gloss, either way, you’re guaranteed to turn some heads.

2. A good pair of shoes

Never underestimate a solid pair of shoes. Whether they’re your favorite sneakers or your favorite loafers, rock what makes you feel poised. Tip: A little heel, a physical boost in height and a boost in confidence, never hurt either!

3. Manicured Nails

Let’s be real, you’ll feel 100% more confident with fire-y red nails than you will with bare bitten-down-to-the-skin nails. Chances are, if you’re in a college area, there’s a nail salon that offers a student discount. Who doesn’t love a discount?

4. Pick out your outfit early

If you know you have a rough day coming up, pick your outfit out the night before if not sooner. A well put together outfit eliminates tons of stress, especially by already having it picked out before you wake up.

5. A good bra

The better you’re supported the more composed you’ll feel. Even if no one sees it, you’ll have that little extra bit of knowledge that nobody else has, and chances are, you’ll feel pretty empowered because of it.
