Middle School Bops that are More Fun to Dance in Your 20s

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at JCU chapter.

As an avid fan of all things music, I have recently curated a playlist for car rides with my friends that don’t like to listen to The 1975, Clairo, or Lana Del Rey. All songs are guaranteed to have the entire car singing and rapping like they might actually have talent. It’s concerning that we listened to and danced to some of these songs in middle school. I personally find it much more enjoyable to sing and dance to them now that I have some semblance of confidence and a butt.

“Dance (A$$)” Remix by Big Sean, Nicki Minaj

“Crazy Beautiful Life” by Ke$ha

“Do You Remember” by Jay Sean, Sean Paul

“Fire Burning” by Sean Kingston

“Somebody To Love” Remix by Justin Bieber, Usher

“Please Don’t Go” by Mike Posner

“Wobble” by V.I.C.

“Down” by Jay Sean, Lil Wayne

“Bottoms Up” by Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj

Enjoy your car ride, pregame, or a dance party in your bedroom. Long live King Jay Sean.
