1. One of my personal favorite things to do in Jacksonville, AL, is to visit the square. The square is a unique area right in the center of town that hosts a variety of clothing stores, restaurants, and small businesses. It’s great to get to shop and support your community.
2. The second best thing would be to visit the Houston Cole Library. The Houston Cole library is one of the tallest academic buildings in the state of Alabama, and is a beautiful sight to see. It’s definitely something you would not want to miss while visiting Jacksonville.
3. Last but not least, you have to take a ride up Mountain Street and visit the mountain itself. From there, you will see a breathtaking view of Jacksonville, as well as the state of Alabama.
