For Valentine’s Day this year, it is okay to not have a special someone! I have learned over the years that you do not need a boyfriend or girlfriend to be happy. At the end of the day, making yourself happy is all that matters.

Here’s to the single ladies out there who do not know what to do on Valentine’s Day. Here are some ideas:

  • Get a group of friends together and have a good time! Go out to dinner and have Galantine’s Day, and/or have a girl’s night in and order pizza and watch a movie!
  • Have a day to yourself, where you dedicate time to yourself do stuff for yourself. Do a face mask, call a friend, do a hobby you enjoy, or binge a Netflix series. Even if it is just going to get your nails done or having a shopping spree, spend the day doing what YOU enjoy.
  • Spend time with family, after all Valentine’s Day is about love, so spend the day with people you love.
  • Spend it with your best friend, and buy each other cute little gifts since you guys have each other at the end of the day.

OR if you do not particularly care about Valentine’s Day, just do what you would on any other regular day. After all, Valentine’s Day is about love, so whatever it is that YOU love, just make sure you go and do it. Self-care and self-love are forms of love, so why not celebrate?
