Lately there have been rumors flying around about a possible reboot of The Office which have everyone going:

John Krasinski, who played Jim Halpert, says that he hopes to see a reboot and would love to come back as Jim again. He wants to see it come back as a Christmas special where we get to see where the characters are every few years, that way it won’t be a huge contract deal for the actors.

Ed Helms, who played Andy Bernard, says that he loves anything to do with the show, implying he would be open to playing the character again. But he thinks that all the talks are hypothetical and isn’t quite sure what’s going to happen yet.

Unfortunately, Steve Carell says that he would not want to play the lovable Michael Scott again. He believes that people will be disappointed because the show would not be the way it was before due to different directors and writers.

Personally, I would love to see where all of my favorite characters have gone with their lives. How is Dwight and his beet farm?

How are Jim and Pam handling their children’s teenage years?

And maybe the most important of all… did we ever find out if Toby is the Scranton Strangler?

Overall, I think we just want to know that all of them are happily living their lives and going on more wild and crazy adventures. What do you think of a possible reboot? Are you excited to see everyone again or are you nervous that it won’t be the same? We can only hope for the best and put our trust in NBC to stay true to the original series.
