Mamma Mia Parties at IUP

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IUP chapter.

The famous Broadway show Mamma Mia took the stage at IUP on March 2nd, 2016.  The full house enjoyed the songs of ABBA telling the story of a young woman wanting her father to walk her down the aisle at her wedding. The lively characters made the crowd laugh and cheer till the fall of the curtain. The cast receieved a standing ovation by the crowd and the characters sang another round of the songs: Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, and Waterloo. The colorful and bright costumes were a blast from the past and the dancing brought applause.

The cast delievered a fun night of some favorite songs that our mom’s sing along to, making the show seem more like a dance party.

It was a  good way to enjoy the night!
