Freshman Casey Brelsford has made a big splash in her short time at IUP. As a nursing major in the Robert E. Cook Honors College, Casey continually shows her dedication to the Honors College and Whitmyre communities and her education.
As president of the Whitmyre Residence Hall Council, Casey has sponsored several programs and fundraisers. Among them a Quidditch match between Whitmyre floors, pool tournament, bake sale, Penny War, letters to the troops activity, and pie your staff fundraiser. Throughout the planning and execution of each of these activities, Casey has made the events fun for all, while maintain a professional attitude.
In her free time, Casey enjoys knitting, Tumblr, superheroes, and hanging out with her new friends. Casey is looking forward to her time at IUP and her future as a nurse. She hopes to find employment at a veterans’ hospital so that she can help those who have helped us all.
