 2012 is the perfect year to make Indiana’s campus your catwalk. Leaving behind the dreary weather to get you down, renovate your closet this winter with these trendy necessities to pull off the hottest outfits for the New Year.

1.     Stockings– Yes, ladies! You read correctly. Forget the old myth that stockings are only worn by your grandmother and go out and purchase a pair of your own. Ranging in different styles and patterns, these can be worn under any skirts or shorts to turn your outfit from sleazy to sassy.

2.     Scarves– This accessory is easily the most effortless piece in your wardrobe to go with any ensemble. Varying from plain to patterned, sheer to thick and textured to soft, it is crucial to own one as soon as possible. Throw it on with a casual pair of sweats or with your blazer and look absolutely fab!

3.     Booties– There is no worse feeling in the world when Saturday night rolls around, the snow has been piling up all day, and it is time to go out! The thought of wearing heals is the ultimate dread and your need for a comfy, but cute pair of booties is crucial. Once you invest in a pair of booties, you will not be sorry!
