Dynamic Duo: Matt Callahan & Chet Stange

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IU chapter.

Names: Matt Callahan (left) and Chet Strange (right)
Age: 20
Major: Journalism

What movie always make you cry?
Chet Strange: Oh that’s easy, Forrest Gump
Matt Callahan: I cried the first time I saw that.
CS: I cry every time.
MC: When she got AIDs … !

What is your favorite zoo animal?

CS: The Muntjack.
MC: Is that even a real animal? You think that’s cool, the petite lap giraffe.

What is the best dish you can cook?
MC: I make a mean mac  ‘n cheese. People come from miles around to eat it.
CS: I make a killer French toast.
MC: I feel like more men are good at breakfast.
CS: Why is that? We don’t like getting up early in the morning.

What do you believe your duties are as campus cutie?
CS: Really, just, to spread the gospel of how good I am, how good I look. I want to be an ambassador for good looking people everywhere.
MC: The responsibility isn’t on me but on other people to acknowledge me as campus cutie.

What is your idea of the perfect date?
CS: That’s a tough one.
MC: Well, I’d like her to take me out to a nice dinner. Then we take a walk on the beach and she has fireworks arranged.
CS: I would like horses to be involved, not sexually.

Who inspires you the most?
MC: I would say me, followed by Chet.
CS: I’ve got to agree with him that me and Matt are the biggest influences in life. But I tend to look at historical figures, like Abe Lincoln.

Since you both do photojournalism, if you could photograph any assignment what would it be?
MC: Playboy photo shoot.
CS: Really it’s just anything where I can go out and meet someone new or do something different.
