Adventures at The Apple Works

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at IU chapter.

Looking for the perfect place to go this fall? Apple Works is about a 50 minute drive from our lovely Bloomington campus providing tons of fun fall activities like pumpkin picking, a petting zoo, one of a kind delicious treats, a corn maze, and more!

They had such a great variety of pumpkins; everyone left with a pumpkin unique to them!

This was something I’d never seen before, apple cider slushies! So delicious.

Feeding the animals at the petting zoo was one of the best parts of our adventure at Apple Works! They had alpacas, goats, ducks, sheep, and various other animals. The animals gobbled the food up so quickly that it tickled our hands; it was so funny and incredibly cute.

After careful consideration, we all left with a pumpkin, or two, that we felt was made for us. Picking the perfect pumpkin was an accomplished feeling!

We couldn’t pass up the huge barn slide. Most of us let out our inner child, taking turns speeding down the dark tunnel. However, I preferred to caputure the fun!
