Everyone has been buzzing over the latest release of Outer Banks season 3, and it currently sits at the number one most watched shows on Netflix. I mean, how could it not? This amazing TV show follows a group of adventurous teenagers that hunt for treasure that is related to the main character, John B’s, father’s disappearance. The show’s drama, romance and plot twists keep the audience on the edge of their seats and begging for more. If you already binged the third season and are desperately waiting for the fourth season to release, here are a few TV shows to tide you over!

1. Stranger things

This is another fan favorite on Netflix! The show starts off with a group of nerdy middle school students in the 1980s. One kid, Will, goes missing due to supernatural means, and the remaining members of the group discover Eleven, a girl that escaped from an experimental laboratory. To find Will, the group teams up with Eleven and run into intense drama and plot twists along the way. If you are a fan of the group friendship in Outer Banks, as well as the drama, Stranger Things is definitely something to watch!

2. The summer i turned pretty

If you are a fan of John B and Sarah’s or Kiara and JJ’s romances, this show is for you! It follows a teenager named Isabel and her life on the beach-y coast of Massachusetts. She is trapped in a love triangle between two attractive brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah. Who will she choose? Will her heart get broken or will she break theirs? Watch on Amazon Prime and find out!

3. The Society

Another popular Netflix show! This one has a bit of horror and dystopian elements to it. High school students get sent on a field trip, but due to bad weather, they have to return back to their town. When they get back, all the adults have disappeared. The teenagers have to establish government and next steps, all while processing what could have happened to their families. If you like the teenager driven decisions of the Outer Banks, then this show will definitely be for you!

4. One of us is lying

This popular Peacock show will keep you binging episode after episode! The beginning is similar to The Breakfast Club, with five students of different school groups going into detention. One of these students had gossip they wanted to release about the other teens. When detention ends, only four of these students leave alive and the show describes each of the students’ stories until the murderer is revealed. Just like Outer Banks, a person is missing and teens must work together to figure out what happened!

I hope you all enjoy these recommendations! Happy binging!
