With so many options to choose from, finding a new tv show to turn on for the next few months is challenging, so here are the top three shows that I highly recommend.
Gilmore girls
Gilmore Girls has been known as the fall tv show because of the comforting feeling you get while watching it. The show follows the daily life of mother and daughter, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, in the small town of Stars Hollow. When Rory transfers to Chilton, she enters into a world of the rich that she had grown up so far away from. Alongside that we watch as Rory searches for the perfect guy for her, going from the farm boy next door to an heir of a massive journalism company. Rory is an exceptionally smart and independent girl who excels at everything she does, and on the occasional instances that something goes wrong, Lorelai is always there to pick up the pieces. Gilmore Girls is a sweet, feel-good story that is a perfect show to binge-watch this fall season.
Derry girls
If you’re looking for a show that makes your stomach hurt from laughing, Derry Girls is for you. Derry Girls is set during a dark time of history, in Northern Ireland in the early 1990s, however, the writers make light by focusing on a 16-year-old girl and her relationships with her chaotic family and friends. The show is about a group of Catholic schoolgirls in the town of Derry. Together, they get into hilarious situations that will always leave you pressing the next episode when it’s done. The casting for this show was done perfectly, so all of the actors have perfect chemistry with each other, meaning the conversations between the characters seem natural. This makes all of the jokes told seem like jokes between friends and their Irish accents only elevate the humor. Derry Girls is the perfect “blow-through-it-in-three-nights” type of TV show, that is guaranteed to leave you gasping for air.
Grey’s anatomy
They’re the grunts of the hospital. The nobodies. But not for long. Grey’s Anatomy is all about Meredith Grey, the daughter of a legendary surgeon, Ellis Grey. Meredith starts at Seattle Grace Hospital as a surgical intern where she’s assigned to a team with her soon-to-be best friends, Christina Yang, Alex Karev, Izzy Stevens, and George O’Malley. Together, they struggle to learn the inner workings of the hospital. The hospital quickly becomes a never-ending story as everyone starts dating and cheating on each other, secret ex-wives start showing up and there is always a secret to unfold. Grey’s Anatomy has been on the top of the watchlist for many people for many years and that’s because this show is constantly releasing new seasons. There are currently 19 seasons available to watch with season 20 coming out in the next few months. This show is truly never-ending and it’s the perfect show to turn on when you’re relaxing, doing homework, or when you just want something on in the background.
